Strong field for Intercontinental Cup

Syria, ranked 93rd in the FIFA world rankings, brings significant experience to the tournament. Mauritius, at 179th, will provide a different challenge.

The Indian team, currently ranked 124th, will be looking to defend their title after winning the 2023 edition.

India’s home advantage

The Intercontinental Cup has become a regular feature on the Indian football calendar since its inception in 2018. Previous editions were held in Mumbai, Ahmedabad, and Bhubaneswar, with India emerging victorious in 2018 and 2023.
