Gerrard Next Job: Liverpool Legend Set for Turkey Return 18 Years After Champions League Heroics, Could Coach Trabzonspor 5 Months After Aston Villa Sacking
Trabzonspor are without a manager since sacking Abdullah Avcı last month. Trabzonspor’s presidential candidate, Ertugrul Dogan, who is also the chairman of the club has promised that if he wins the election, he will appoint Gerrard as the manager. Gerrard recently flew to Turkey to have dinner with Dogan. It seems like if Dogan wins the election, Gerrard will be seen managing Trabzonspor.
Managing Trabzonspor will be a good chance for Gerrard to prove his managerial skills once again. He won only 12 games out of 40 at Aston Villa and at the time of his sacking, the Premier League side were placed 17th. However, at his previous club Rangers, the 42-year-old had an insane record of winning 125 wins from 193 games. He even guided the Rangers to win the Scottish Premiership in 2020/21, without even losing a game. The team only conceded 13 goals in 38 games and won the title with 102 points.

Steven Gerrard’s link with other clubs
