Harry Kane: Harry Kane wants to leave Tottenham Hotspur and join Bayern Munich. This has been no secret for the media and it seems like we might be going toward the end of this saga. Kane has been wanting to leave Spurs for quite a while now but it looks like this summer, it will finally happen. His current manager, Ange Postecoglou has expressed his annoyance at how Bayern have been talking about his player in the media lately.

Ange Postecoglou slammed Bayern Munich’s public pursuit of Harry Kane, claiming: “I’d never talk to the media about the players of other clubs.” Kane scored four goals in Spurs’ 5-1 friendly annihilation of Shakhtar Donetsk, which was intended to raise funds for Ukraine, before clapping and waving to the crowd on a small lap of honour at full-time.
Bayern Munich has made three proposals for England’s captain, the most recent of which is thought to be approximately £86 million. The Bavarians have made no secret of its interest to sign Spurs’ 280-goal record holder, with honorary president Uli Hoeness and president Herbert Hainer both publicly stating their desire.
Postecoglou unhappy with Harry Kane talk
Since taking over as Tottenham’s manager in June, Postecoglou has faced questions about Kane’s future. The Australian, 57, said he was unfazed by Bayern’s public courting but did add, ‘What is factual right now is that Kane is a contracted player of our football club. I certainly wouldn’t talk about contracted players at other football clubs but I’m not at Bayern so they can go the way they want.’
Ange also said, ‘I don’t know what ‘deadlines’ means. We know there’s one deadline and that’s the end of the transfer window. Beyond that, I’m in open dialogue with Harry and the club on a regular basis.’
He continued, ‘I’ve said to them, ‘If the status quo changes then inform me’. I don’t need to know about the comings and goings in between. I just want to deal with what’s in front of me because irrespective of the outcome, I’m building a team. I can’t wait around for a decision — we don’t have the time or the luxury to do that.’

Bayern closing in on Kane deal
According to German media, Bayern set a deadline of midnight on Friday for Spurs chairman Daniel Levy to accept their offer. There has been no progress on Kane’s future in more than 48 hours. The player is said to want to know his destiny before Spurs kick off their Premier League season against Brentford on Sunday.
Despite all the chatter, Kane proved with four goals against Shakhtar — Dane Scarlett, 19, added Spurs’ fifth late on — that his on-pitch focus is razor-sharp. Spurs captain Kane applauded fans at full-time and waved to what appeared to be a family member in the stands. It was interpreted as a farewell, however, the forward is known to do the same after prior matches.
