Spain vs England: Clash of Titans to take center stage as hype builds on the Euro Cup finals

The stage is set for the clash of heavyweights. England continue their hunt for silverware as they take on a dangerous Spain in the Finals of the Euro Cup. Both the teams have been undefeated so far in the tournament and it is only the final that separates the two sides. Spain have been the better side throughout UEFA Euro 2024 displaying their dynamic gameplay while England have been ever consolidated in their play.

Spain Team News

Spain have been replenished with the return of Dani Carvajal and Robin Le Normand. The duo defenders missed out on the game against France after accumulating yellow and red cards. On the other hand, La Roja will continue to miss the services of ace midfielder Pedri.

There was another injury concern for Alvaro Morata. The player experienced a knee injury after being hurt by a security guard. But Spain will hugely reliant on their three forwards, young Lamine Yamal, and Nico Williams and ace forward Alvaro Morata.

England Team News

England has no injury concerns as Luke Shaw is fit and fine. But the Manchester United left back is not expected to start the game. He can be used as a substitute if and when the situation arises. Gareth Southgate will be unwilling to tinker with his set combination.

The prime focus will be on Harry Kane and wonder boy Jude Bellingham. The spotlight will also be on the wide forwards, i.e. Bukayo Saka and Phil Foden. Down in the heart of midfield, the Three Lions will be hoping youngster Kobbie Mainoo to continue his fine form.

Spain Predicted XI: Simon; Carvajal, Le Normand, Laporte, Cucurella; Ruiz, Rodri, Olmo; Yamal, Morata, Williams

England Predicted XI: Pickford; Walker, Stones, Guehi; Saka, Mainoo, Rice, Shaw; Bellingham, Foden; Kane
