Skipper Sunil Chhetri not in AIFF Player of Year roster, reveals ex-India captain Bhaichung Bhutia

In a surprising twist, Bhaichung Bhutia revealed that Sunil Chhetri, the captain of the Indian football team, has been excluded from this year's AIFF Player of the Year list. The nominees for the prestigious award were discussed during the AIFF Ex Co's first annual AGM.

In a shocking turn of event, Bhaichung Bhutia revaled that Indian Football team Captain Sunil Chhetri has not been inluded in this years AIFF Player of the year list. In the first annual AGM of the AIFF Ex Co  the nominees for the Player of the Year Award were also discussed.

“The Footballer of the Year award was left to eminent footballers to decide. We were given a list of that. Unfortunately, on that list, I was quite surprised that it did not have Sunil Chhetri’s name, though he had had a very good season,” Bhutia was quoted saying,
