PepsiCo’s sports drink brand Gatorade has released a new 30-second TVC featuring ace Indian shuttler and Rio 2016 silver medallist P.V. Sindhu.
The TVC forms the part of the Gatorade’s campaign #SweatMore #SweatforGold, highlighting the brand’s commitment to keep top athletes across the world re-hydrated, replenished and refuelled for better performance.
The film also features Argentinian football star Lionel Messi and NBA star Karl-Anthony Towns, who plays for Minnesota Timberwolves.
Sindhu is the first face for the TVC launched for India market. The film shows Sindhu in a video-games simulation playing badminton, depicting the choices she has – To Give Up – Yes or No?
The film urges athletes to achieve more and never quit early, reflecting on Gatorade’s uniqueness as sports drink to provide the right balance of nutrients like carbohydrates, minerals, and electrolytes.
Sindhu was announced brand ambassador of Pepsico’s sports drink brand in March 2017. She has earlier featured in Gatorade TVC #IHateMyTeacher – A tribute to her coach Pullela Gopichand.
