Sadio Mane Transfer: Sadio Mane’s arrival at Bayern Munich has been a disaster so far and his recent feud with teammate Leroy Sane did not help his case. Hence, Bayern Munich are ready to rectify their mistakes as they will try everything to sell the player this summer after only one year at the club. He also does not fit the system Bayern’s new coach Thomas Tuchel has been trying to establish at the club. Follow Bundesliga LIVE Updates on InsideSport.IN.

Sadio Mane arrived at Bayern Munich at the start of this season after a good show of form at Liverpool for £35 million. Bayern Munich were so confident in that transfer that after Robert Lewandowski left the club, they did not sign any solid striker. However, the forward has hardly started in 15 matches for the club and has given comparatively poor performances in all his appearances.

Under Thomas Tuchel, he has only started in a single match. The journalist Florian Plettenberg, who broke the news of Mane to Bayern Munich, reported that Bayern believes the transfer was a mistake. He also reported, Mane’s poor performance has been a continuous joking matter at the club. Many jokingly say that Bayern signed Mane’s twin brother, not the same Sadio Mane that used to play for Liverpool.

There have also been reports that Sadio Mane does not fit Thomas Tuchel’s system at the club. Plettenberg said, From what I’m hearing, Bayern will try everything to offload Sadio Mane in the summer. From a sporting point of view, Thomas Tuchel has no plans with Mane as he doesn’t fit his system. This is my information. The player is seen very critically internally.”

Mane hasn’t helped his case at the club. He apparently punched his teammate Leroy Sane in the dressing room after Bayern’s defeat against Manchester City in the Champions League quarter-final first-leg match. The forward was dropped out of the Bayern Munich squad against Hoffenheim in Bundesliga following this fight. Bayern also handed Mane the record amount of £260,000 as a fine for the incident.

As per reports, Mane has told his friends that he misses Liverpool. However, that seems to be impossible as Liverpool do not have any plans to bring the Senegalese player back to Anfield. In the past year, he has only remained a shadow of the player he was at Liverpool. Also, he just turned 31 a few days ago, so a return to Anfield for Mane seems a little far-fetched.

Bayern Munich is determined to load off Sadio Mane as soon as this summer. Otherwise, they will have to keep paying the forward almost £18 million per year. Mane’s contract with Bayern expires in 2025, so they will have to pay about £36 million still. If Bayern manages to sell Mane before the start of next season, they could bring in an effective forward, like Victor Osimhen.
