Sadio Mane reportedly in talks with Al Nassr for potential move away from Bayern

Sadio Mane is allegedly in talks with Cristiano Ronaldo's Al Nassr about a possible transfer to the Saudi Pro League from Bayern Munich.

Bayern Munich’s Sadio Mane is allegedly in discussions with Al-Nassr to join Cristiano Ronaldo at the club. His agents spoke with the club’s sports director Goran Vucevic and explored the possibility of moving to the Saudi Pro League.

At 31 years old, Mane faced challenges in his debut season in Germany after his transfer from Liverpool last summer. In April, he made headlines for striking teammate Leroy Sane during a 3-0 defeat against Manchester City in the Champions League.

Throughout this summer, there have been numerous speculations about Mane leaving Bayern. Despite him currently being in Portugal for the team’s pre-season training camp. During this time, a representative from Mane’s agent, Roof, held a meeting with Al-Nassr’s sports director, Goran Vucevic.

Al Nassr has been making significant moves in the transfer market this summer. They secured Marcelo Brozovic from Inter Milan and Seko Fofana from Lens, alongside Ronaldo. Furthermore, they are edging closer to finalizing a deal with Manchester United full-back Alex Telles.

Mane’s time at Bayern has been marked by difficulties, as he managed to score only seven goals in 25 Bundesliga matches. His performance was further hampered by a leg injury sustained in November, causing him to miss the World Cup and several other Bayern games.

Bayern will undoubtedly be eager to recuperate the majority of the £27 million cost they paid for Mane a year ago. Given that he has two years remaining on his deal. Last season, the Senegal international has 12 goals and six assists in 38 games across all competitions.
