Romelu Lukaku scripts cryptic message on Instagram amid Inter Milan rifts rumour

Romelu Lukaku posts cryptic  note on Instagram in response to rumours of an Inter Milan rift amid rumours of a Juventus transfer.

Romelu Lukaku of Chelsea shared an obscure message on his Instagram account amid reports of a rift with Inter. He appears to have intimated that all of the stories flowing in the media about his future has some element of deception.

Amid allegations of a rupture between Lukaku and Inter directors and players, he posted a mysterious statement on his Instagram account. He wrote: “When that hate doesn’t work, they start telling lies.”

Lukaku is currently back at Chelsea after his loan spell with the Italian club ended. Inter were initially interested in signing the striker on a permanent basis this summer. They later withdrew after discovering he was conversing with Juventus while negotiating a deal with the club.

Lukaku returns to Chelsea after a loan stint at Inter Milan. Both parties are now eager to break their relationship permanently because it has been turbulent since they rejoined in 2021. He had a successful first four months until falling out with Thomas Tuchel.

His return to Italy was plagued by injuries that hindered his play in the first part of the season. He came up big in the second half to assist the squad finish in the top four. He struggled in Manchester City’s UEFA Champions League final defeat.

According to reports, the Inter players have turned their backs on the Belgian. They are refusing to engage with him because they feel misled by his choice to speak with strong rivals Juventus.

For the time being, Juventus appears to be a likely destination for the striker, with Chelsea wanting to move him in the summer and Inter now out of the running.
