It is the clash of the titans yet again in the second leg of the semi finals of the UEFA Champions League. German giants Bayern Munich have a daunting task at their hands as they lock arms with Real Madrid away from home. It ended 2-2 in the first leg in Germany, but it is advantage Los Blancos with the second leg of the tie at their home.
A dual strike from Vinicius Junior was enough to sustain the Bavarians. It was the Brazilian who opened the scoring before Bayern Munich took charge. Two quick goals within 4 minutes at the start of the second half meant, Bayern dominated the game. Leroy Sane scored the equaliser before Harry Kane scored from the spot to help his side take a slender lead.

Bayern’s lead however was cut down when Vinicius up stepped in the box to score his brace and level the tie. Real Madrid are one of the most formidable opponents in the UEFA Champions League. With the La Liga title done and dusted, Carlo Ancelotti and Co has set their sight on the European trophy.
Despite the home advanatge, Real Madrid won’t have it easy. Head coach Carlo Ancelotti claimed that he respects his opponents and also will have to improve defensively.
“(Bayern and Real) are similar clubs because they have a great history and a lot of success. We have to respect our opponents because they did very well and better than us in the first leg,” Carlo Ancelotti said.
“We need a match with intensity, with pace… Looking at the first leg, defensively we could have done a lot more,” Ancelotti concluded.
