Jude Bellingham Transfer: The transfer of Jude Bellingham from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid has been agreed upon, and he is now having a physical in the Spanish capital. Dortmund had demanded on a total transfer cost of €150m, but Real have agreed to pay an initial €100m plus add-ons.
The agreement between Real and Dortmund will result in the 19-year-old’s summer transfer to Santiago Bernabeu. Bellingham is scheduled to come in the Spanish capital in the “coming days” to undergo a medical, marking one of the highest transfer payments in the annals of both teams.

In 132 games in all competitions for the German club, the English midfielder has 24 goals and 25 assists. Last season, he contributed significantly to Dortmund’s success, scoring eight goals and providing five assists on route to being named the Bundesliga’s player of the year.
Following another fantastic season for Dortmund, and a spectacular World Cup for Gareth Southgate’s England, Bellingham had become one of Europe’s hottest properties. Prior to pulling out over his outrageous transfer fee, Liverpool had been the early front-runners. Manchester City had also briefly entered the race. The only thing left was for the two teams to agree on a transfer cost after Bellingham said his farewell to Dortmund and was claimed to have been shopping for a property in Madrid.
Bellingham is already in Madrid for medical testing, which enables the England star to continue knee rehabilitation after injury prevented him from finishing the season with Dortmund. Despite being a member of Gareth Southgate’s team, the injury appears to put him out of the Three Lions’ next Euro 2024 qualifiers against North Macedonia and Malta.

In fact, it has been publicly rumoured for a while that Bellingham and Madrid had reached a personal agreement. He joins a team that faces intense competition in the midfield, not least from a number of promising young talents, now that a complete agreement between the two clubs has been achieved. With players like Eduardo Camavinga, Aurelien Tchouameni, and Fede Valverde already on their books, Bellingham virtually completes Real’s midfield for the foreseeable future.
