The top players of the Indian Super League (ISL) for the past two years are up for the Golden Boot award this year too. Mumbai City FC’s Jorge Pereyra Diaz is up for it, as is Adrian Luna of Kerala Blasters’. Mohun Bagan Super Giant duo Dimitri Petratos and Jason Cummings are close at heels too, with all competing for the award.
Two players from the Indian contingent in Indian Super League 10 is giving the foreigners a run for their money for the ISL Golden Boot this time around. NorthEast United’s Parthib Gogoi and Mohun Bagan Super Giant’s Manvir Singh are the two leading goal-scorers in so far in the tournament.
Diego Mauricio from Odisha FC was the top scorer in the Indian Super League last season, scoring 12 goals in 21 matches. He was awarded the Golden Boot.
