PSG set to compete Bayern for Spurs Captain Harry Kane

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) and Bayern Munich are both vying to secure the signing of Tottenham Hotspur's captain, Harry Kane, from the Premier League.

According to rumors, Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) are ready to compete with Bayern Munich for the signing of Harry Kane. The German club is pressing hard to sign the Tottenham Hotspur player, who has only one year remaining on his contract.

Bayern allegedly had a £70 million proposal rejected down by Spurs, and executives have come to London to meet with Daniel Levy. He is attempting to persuade him to join the club by offering him a massive £400,000-per-week salary.

However, Bayern feel Kane wants to join them and that personal issues would not be an issue if a cost is agreed upon. New rumours say that PSG are poised to compete with Thomas Tuchel’s team.

However, reports say that they will only go up to a certain degree in their bids before returning in January if Kane’s contract expires. Manchester United are allegedly interested in signing England captain Joe Hart, but would only do so if the 29-year-old became a free agent next summer.

The Red Devils have priced themselves out of a trade and are instead eyeing Atalanta attacker Rasmus Hojlund.

PSG has lost Lionel Messi and there is question over Kylian Mbappe’s future. The star has informed the club that he intends to run down his contract and go away for free in a year’s time, rather than triggering the extension that many expected.

PSG is keen not to lose Mbappe for free and may move him this summer, thus opening the door for Kane. The Tottenham Hotspur player is presently focused on pre-season, having returned to training and flew out to Australia for friendlies.
