PSG New Manager: PSG set to appoint Jose Mourinho as new manager – In a shocking turn of events, Ligue 1 champions Paris Saint-Germain are eager to take Jose Mourinho as their new manager. Reports from The Telegraph state that PSG is willing to take the AS Roma manager. Though the Portugues has over 2 years left in his contract with Roma, PSG is willing to launch a surprise move for Mourinho. Reports further claim that current PSG manager Mauricio Pochettino is likely to be sacked soon.

The radar came under Mourinho after the Portuguese manager lifted the UEFA Conference League title with the Italian club a couple of weeks back. Jose has previously won the UEFA Champions League with Porto in 2004 and with Inter Milan in 2010. In 2017, he won the UEFA Europa League title with Manchester United.

Former Real Madrid manager Zinedine Zidane has been scored by PSG to become their next manager. However, quite a few things have made the move impossible till now. First of all, it is believed that Zidane is interested to take the reins of the France national team after the 2022 FIFA World Cup when Didier Deschamps relinquishes his spot.

Secondly, it is also believed that Zidane has very good terms with AS Monaco and therefore will not join the direct team’s rival, i.e PSG. For Mourinho, this move looks quite possible owing to his good terms with Luis Campos. With Kylian Mbappe staying for 3 further years, it is understood that the prime target of PSG is winning the UCL.

PSG management believes that Jose Mourinho can guide their team to win the UEFA Champions League in comparison to Mauricio Pochettino. The Argentine manager came under immense pressure after failing to deliver the UCL crown to the Paris team.
