Galtier, in a statement, expressed his gratitude for the opportunity to coach Messi, whom he considers the greatest player in the history of football. Messi, who joined the PSG in 2021, has played 74 games for the Ligue 1 side. While the Argentine struggled in his first season, he enjoyed his second season with the Ligue 1 giants. The 36-year-old has scored 32 goals and provided 35 assists in his career as Paris Saint-German player.
Currently, Barcelona, Inter Miami, and Al Hilal are in the race to get the 36-year-old World Cup winner. Additionally, rumors have surfaced about the few Premier League clubs that have also shown interest in getting the legendary Argentine.
Messi gives 10-day deadline to Barca
Reports have emerged that Lionel Messi has given a deadline to Barcelona for preparing a proposal. According to a report by Relevo, With a lucrative Saudi offer on the table, Messi has told Barca that he will not wait for too long and that the Spanish giants have 10 days to prepare a contract.
Notably, Barcelona’s financial structure has been the main hindrance in their pursuit of bringing Messi back to Camp Nou. The club is awaiting a green signal from La Liga about making the deal happen.

The report added that Barca and Miami are in talks about a possible buy-and-loan deal for the World Cup winner. According to the agreement, Inter Miami would sign Messi as a free agent and then give the Argentine on loan to the Catalan club for a term of 18 months. After that, he would go back to Miami.
