It is never easy being a manager at Paris-Saint Germain. Every summer, there is a roller-coaster of a ride over who is going to be the new manager at PSG. Luis Enrique was signed to be the new head coach for the 2023/24 season. But, if rumors are to be believed, then the Spanish coach is close to quitting managing the club this season. The reason? He is fed up with the drama surrounding Kylian Mbappe.

According to sources in Spain, Luis Enrique is considering leaving PSG after only 30 days with the team. According to Marca, the former manager of Barcelona is reportedly “tired” with the Kylian Mbappe situation. Since it was reported that Mbappe would not be renewing his contract at PSG, his future has been in doubt.
Kylian Mbappe saga
In order to avoid losing him for free in a year, the club tried to sell Mbappe this summer. The forward is presently absent from the team while his future is decided, and Luis Campos, the club’s sports director, has also been connected to a departure.
Enrique’s predicament is made worse by Marca’s claim that Rafel Pol, his right-hand man, is also debating about staying at the club. According to the outlet, “short trigger” Enrique is allegedly becoming uncomfortable and irritated as a result of the circumstance, and he may eventually quit his work.
Meanwhile, Mbappe just received a £35 million loyalty incentive from PSG. He was not included in PSG’s trip to Japan and Korea despite Nasser Al-Khelaifi, the club president, pleading with him to consider offers.
Mbappe rejected offers from Saudi club
The 2018 World Cup champion turned down a startling £11.6 million per week offer from Saudi club Al-Hilal after PSG accepted a world-record £259 million deal from them. According to PSG officials, Mbappe has already decided to move to Real Madrid at the end of the current season and may even decide to skip the entire season in order to get his desired transfer.

They believe that Mbappe’s willingness to remain for his contract’s final year is also due to the fact that he would be eligible for a bonus worth approximately £70 million.
PSG and Enrique’s camp deny rumors
The reports have been refuted and called “complete nonsense” by PSG. Enrique was only appointed manager of the team earlier this summer after Christophe Galtier was fired just days after he won the Ligue 1 championship.
PSG’s spokesperson was quick to deny the rumors of Enrique wanting to leave just 30 days after joining PSG. The spokesperson said, ‘Today’s rumors are all as ridiculous as they are completely out of place.’
There were also rumors of Luis Campos wanting to leave the Parisians but those rumors were also squashed. Even Luis Enrique’s camp denied that there was any thought of leaving the club as main focus remains on Paris.
