The Manchester United attacker has just been named the Premier League’s Player of the Month for the second time this season. He scored three goals in four games played in the top division in January. When the Englishman wins two Premier League Player of the Month honours in the same season, he joins a select group of Manchester United footballers who have accomplished this feat. Rooney, Robin van Persie, Ryan Giggs, Bruno Fernandes, David de Gea, and Ronaldo are all on the list.

And after winning the club’s player of the month award as well, he tweeted his happiness.“The last month couldn’t have gone better for me. On a personal note, it’s the first time I’ve won these awards together and hopefully not the last.”

He has scored four goals in four domestic cup games while also scoring three goals in four Premier League games this month. In 31 games this season across all competitions, Rashford has scored a total of 18 goals and contributed eight assists.

The England international scored goals in the triumphs at Old Trafford over rivals Manchester City and Bournemouth. He also got things started for Manchester United in their 3-2 loss to Arsenal at the Emirates.

Moreover, with an exciting Europa League matchup against Barcelona, the Carabao Cup Final, as well as Premier League matches against Crystal Palace, Leeds, and Leicester, he added: “Now it’s time to look forward to the next group of games and not the past month. We have a lot of big games starting tomorrow.”
