Premier League: OFFICIAL! Antonio Conte appointed as Tottenham coach, explains what changed his mind- After Nuno Sanchez was sacked by Tottenham just 4 months after he was appointed, Tottenham has officially confirmed the ex-Chelsea manager Antonio Conte as their head coach. Tottenham had approached Conte about succeeding the axed Jose Mourinho earlier this year but was unable to convince the Italian to take the job.
The 52-year-old will return to the Premier League three years after leaving their London rivals Chelsea, where he won the Premier League and the FA Cup. Conte guided Inter Milan to the Serie A title last season but surprisingly left during the close-season.
