Throwback to Liverpool’s comeback win against FC Barcelona

The team’s recent trip to Barcelona was reminiscent of their famous victory over the Catalan giants in the 2019 Champions League semi-final, where they secured a remarkable 4-0 win in the second leg. The squad’s break was well-deserved, following a challenging run of six matches in just 20 days, during which they secured six successive wins to improve their chances of securing a top-four finish in the Premier League . As an added bonus, Liverpool’s players had the opportunity to enjoy their break knowing that their rivals, Newcastle and Manchester United, had suffered defeats in their recent matches.
