Premier League: Inside pictures from Antonio Conte’s 1st Tottenham training session out, talks about Harry Kane and more- Newly appointed boss Antonio Conte took charge of Tottenham’s 1st training session yesterday. After Nuno Sanchez was sacked by Tottenham just 4 months after he was appointed, Tottenham has officially confirmed the ex-Chelsea manager as their head coach. Tottenham had approached Conte about succeeding the axed Jose Mourinho earlier this year but was unable to convince the Italian to take the job.

Antonio Conte’s 1st training session- The new Tottenham coach was all smiles as he took charge of his 1st training session and “observed” the players.

The Italian said: “Many praise Harry Kane for his ability to go get the ball and play with the team, such as with the equalizer against Denmark. But it’s in the box where he’s clinical and as a coach, I would always keep him in there because he’s devastating.

Conte was also full of praise in 2017 during his time at Chelsea and labeled him as the best player in the world.

He told reporters: “For me, Kane, now is one of the best strikers in the world. If I had to buy one striker I would go to Kane. He is a complete striker.
