Tottenham take the lead

It was Harry Kane who gave Jose Mourinho’s men the lead in the 27th minute. Keane was at fault as he headed the ball straight to Harry Kane.

The English striker took a brilliant touch before slamming home from 8 yards out.

Everton equalize and score the go-ahead goal

It took just 4 minutes for Carlo Ancelloti’s men to equalize. James Rodriguez swung back his leg but Reguilon crashed into him, sending him down in the penalty area, and the referee pointed straight to the spot.

Gylfi Sigurdson stepped up to take the penalty, sending Lloris the wrong way to make the score 1-1 in the 31st minute.

Sigurdson secured his brace in the 2nd half. Seamus Coleman was subbed in and made an immediate impact. After playing a fantastic one-two with Richarlison, he sent the cross in for Sigurdson who side-footed a brilliant half-volley into the left-hand corner.

Kane saves 2 points for Spurs

It was another dreadful error from Keane. He headed straight against Holgate and it was Harry Kane who took the benefit. This time, he does not take a touch before lashing the ball into Everton’s net.

Harry Kane was forced off with an injury at the end of the game, 9 days before League Cup final against Manchester City.
