Premier League: How Manchester United could lineup with Cristiano Ronaldo’s sensational return
Where will Ronaldo play for United?
The Red Devils were looking for a long-term replacement for 34-year-old Edinson Cavani in the transfer market but instead have gone on to sign Ronaldo in the summer. The ex-Real Madrid star is no longer a tricky winger with loads of skills in his bag pack likes his younger self and turned more of a striker in over the last few years.
Ole Gunner Solksjaer will likely have Ronaldo slot in the number 9 act as the focal point of Man Untied’s attacking system with the 36-year-old like to rotate with Edinson Cavani this season. The former Juventus star could also be employed on the left with the Norwegian tactician open to using players in various positions to have flexible options in attack.
