Premier League: 5 PL stars who could move away in the final days of the transfer window- Check out – The Premier League enters the final few days before the end of the ongoing transfer window. This is the period where teams get restless as they look to settle upon a squad for the upcoming season.

Many top clubs will aim to trim their teams and get rid of the deadwood in their ranks. They will also be hoping to sell players and generate some revenue before August 31. With just 11 days to go until the end of the transfer window, we have a look at a few of the top PL stars who could switch clubs this summer.

Manchester City- Bernardo Silva

Bernardo Silva has been a consistent performer for Pep Guardiola over the last few years.  Despite being a key player in Man City’s system, the Portuguese star finds himself unsure of regular minutes due to the arrival of Jack Grealish.

Currently under contract with the PL winner until 2025, Man City will not allow one of their top players to leave without demanding a high fee. It could cause a serious issue for Silva as he looks to seek a future away from Eithad.

However, the Portugal international has reportedly been offered to Spurs by Man City in a player plus cash deal for Harry Kane. It remains interesting to see if he agrees to make the switch and move to North London in the final few days of the transfer window.

Premier League Transfer News: Chelsea- Kurt Zouma and Ross Barkley

Kurt Zouma could seek a future away from Stamford Bridge following the emergence of Trevor Chalobah during the clubs’ pre-season campaign. The Blues are keen on selling off the France international given how he has fallen below Chalobah in the pecking order. Thomas Tuchel’s side has also been linked with Sevilla’s Jules Konude which could force Zouma to move in order to get regular minutes.

Ross Barkley failed to impress during his loan spell at Villa Park with the midfielder looking like a shadow of himself in the last few years. Chelsea will be keen on getting rid of the English man with the likes of Kai Havertz and Mason Mount already in the team fighting for a position in the midfield.

Premier League Transfer News: Manchester United- Jesse Lingard

Jesse Lingard hit top gear in the second half of the season last year when he left the Red Devils for a loan spell at West Ham. The Englishman scored nine goals during his time with the Hammers which led to several clubs loooking to acquire his services.

Despite some serious interest from West Ham and a few other teams, a move for Lingard is tricky citing the premium pay Man United demands for the playmaker. However, things could change if Jesse Lingard hands in a transfer request wanting to leave the Old Trafford outfit. It would force United to re-consider their asking price this summer and see Lingard bid goodbye to the Red Devils.

Premier League Transfer News: Arsenal- Hector Bellerin & Willian

Arsenal is reported to part ways with Hector Bellerin as the Spanish right-back is most likely to move away this summer. Atletico Madrid and Inter Milan have been said to be potential suitors but none had made any concrete attempts. Following the rise of Calum Chambers and Nuno Tavares who can also play on the right Arsenal have enough backups to let the Spaniard leave in the ongoing transfer window.

Willian joined Arsenal pocketing staggering wages after leaving Chelsea last year. The Brazilian is at the fag end of his career and failed to perform at the level  Gunners expected him to. The London outfit will is keen to get him off the books but will find it difficult given the lack of interest among clubs for Willian.

Premier League Transfer News: Liverpool- Xherdan Shaqiri and Divcock Origi

Shaqiri has fallen behind the pecking order with Jurgen Klopp opting to play Takumi Minamino over the Swiss star in pre-season. The 29-year-olds’ playing time has been restricted for quite some time which could force him to leave Anfield in search of minutes this summer.

Just like Shaqiri, Origi has also been linked with a move away from Merseyside. Premier League teams like Aston Villa and Wolves are rumored to approach Belgian. Liverpool too will have to accept a reduced fee for the 26-year-old as they look to free up wages and recoup some cash in the transfer window.

Everton- James Rodriguez

The Colombian moved to Goodison Park reuniting with Carlo Ancelotti in Merseyside last year. However, he is now said to be wanting out following the departure of the Italian tactician.

New Everton boss Rafa Benitez has also revealed how he does not want to keep players that are not 100 % committed to the club which could see James leave Goodison Park in the final few days of the transfer window.
