We are at the halfway point for the 2020/21 Premier League season now and while some teams may wish they could start over, others are battling for those all-important European places – as well as the Premier League trophy, of course.
Happily, the Premier League fixtures kick off straight away with the first games being played on New Year’s Day and, while many of us still can’t go to the games, we can watch them from the comfort of our own homes.
Some of the games to look out for include Chelsea v Man City, with the two teams close on the table and both looking to be in the top five. West Brom v Arsenal will be another one to keep an eye on, with West Brom in the relegation zone and Arsenal, for the first time in years, are battling to stay out of it.
Defending champions Liverpool face competition from their rivals Manchester United as the Red Devils are now level at points with Liverpool. Tottenham also climb up and see themselves at the 3rd position now.

Less than 24 hours separate GW 15 and 16 with most teams playing two matches in three days.
Liverpool and Manchester United are perhaps the teams to target during this period as they have little more time between their two games compared to other teams. Thus these two teams are likely to see the least rotations among the top players.
The Reds also face West Brom at Anfield who is the second-worst defensive side in the division before traveling to Newcastle United. Ole Gunnar Solskjaer’s men have a tricky trip to Leicester City on Boxing Day before meeting with Wolves at Old Trafford in GW 16.
