The list is topped by none other than 1984 Golden Boot winner and France star, Michel Platini who has scored a record number of nine goals in a single edition. Next is Antoine Griezmann who scored 6 goals in 2016- closest to Platini’s tally.
Several players have scored 5 goals over the years, including the likes of Alan Shearer and Ronaldo. England’s top scorer Harry Kane is also in the list with four goals in Euro 2020. However, he had scored all of them through group stage, blanking out during the knockouts.
