Brazil vs Peru Live: Neymar & Co keen to extend winning run in WC qualifiers

Juan Reynoso's Peru will host Brazil for their second WC 2026 qualifying game. They played out a goalless draw in previous game while Brazil earned three points in last game.

Brazil vs Peru Live Streaming: Brazil will be in action for the second time this international break as they make a trip to Peru for another three points. South American giants led by Neymar Jr started the World Cup qualifiers with a win over Bolivia. Meanwhile, Peru played out a goalless draw against Paraguay.

The 2026 World Cup should be an ideal event for Peru to earn qualification for the fifth time as the teams have been increased from this edition. Juan Reynoso’s side started the campaign with a goalless draw against Paraguay. Luis Advincula was also sent off on the stroke of half time so it was still a good effort to get one point from the game.

Peru have won just one of their last five games. The only best thing is they have kept three clean sheets in their last four matches. If they manage to earn a point against 5-time World Champions, it would be a big achievement. They haven’t beaten Brazil since 2016.

On the other hand, Brazil are pumped up after a win in the opening fixture of the 2026 World Cup qualifiers. It was a historic match for Neymar who surpassed Pele to become Brazil’s highest goal-scorer. Fernando Diniz started his job as interim manager with a 5-1 victory over Bolivia on Friday night. It was Brazil’s fourth successive win in World Cup qualifying.

Brazil also extended their win record in World Cup qualifiers as they are unbeaten from the last 35 matches. The Yellow outfit last lost a WC qualifier game in October 2015. They have a better record in Peru when they beat the hosts twice in 2016. They have a long journey but it will also help them to prepare for the upcoming Copa America Cup.
