Cristiano Ronaldo poses with an young fan!

Portugal didn’t have to rely on a last minute winner like they had to against Czechia. Against Turkey, Portugal headed into the break with a comfortable 2-0 lead. As the team emerged from the tunnel before the start of the second half, a young fan evaded security to dash into the pitch.

The young fan posed with Ronaldo to click a selfie at the center of the pitch. Ronaldo was happy and with a smile on his face posed with the young fan. After the selfie, the young fan was escorted away by security while the entire stadium erupted into claps and cheers.

Not happy for a second time!

But this wasn’t the end. Minutes later into the second half, another fan decided to copy the first. He too evaded security to rush into the field to click a selfie with the star. But this time Ronaldo wasn’t happy. He was frustrated and showed discontent, asking security to remove the fan from the pitch.

All in all it was a happy day for Ronaldo. Though he didn’t get a chance to score, he got a assist. In fact, it was clear chance for Ronaldo to extend his goal scoring record. But unselfishly, Ronaldo passed the ball to Bruno Fernandes who tapped into the back of the net to make it 3-0 for Portugal.
