Norwich 0-4 Manchester City Highlights: Raheem Sterling – Manchester City extend their lead at the top of the Premier League back to 12 points with a commanding 4-0 victory over Norwich City at Carrow Road. Raheem Sterling was the star of the show with a hat-trick, scoring a stunner to get the breakthrough in the first half. Phil Foden added a second after the restart before Sterling notched a tap-in and then scored his third from a rebound from a missed penalty. Manchester City piled the pressure on Liverpool to keep up ahead of their game on Sunday with a comfortable evening’s work at Norwich. Norwich went closest to a goal in the early exchanges against Manchester City, with a Grant Hanley header striking the woodwork and were punished for not taking that chance when Raheem Sterling fired City to a half-time lead with a fantastic curling effort.
Phil Foden doubled their lead shortly after the interval with the scruffiest goal he’s ever likely to score by bundling in from a yard out and although a despairing defensive dive did clear the ball, it was only after it had crossed the line.

A rare header from Sterling then wrapped things up with 20 minutes remaining as he couldn’t fail to find the net after Rúben Dias nodded the ball across goal on a plate for the England international and he claimed the match ball in the final minute with a rebound after his initial penalty was saved – allowing him to make it a perfect hat-trick in the process.
City re-establish their 12 point lead over Liverpool in second place, while the Canaries remain 18th, a point from safety.
