N’Golo Kante Transfer: N’Golo Kante, Chelsea midfielder, will sign a free contract with Al Ittihad of the Saudi Pro League. Chelsea acquired Kante from Leicester City in 2016 for £32 million. After a brilliant and remarkable season with the Foxes, Kante established himself as a staple in the Chelsea midfield.

He played as a defensive midfielder and significantly contributed to Antonio Conte’s team winning the Premier League. Kante excelled in stopping play, gaining possession of the ball, and closing gaps. He was widely considered as one of Europe’s top defensive midfielders, and he completely deserved the title.

The summer contract for Kante was about to an end, and CFC did start contract extension negotiations. The Frenchman decided to accept a contract extension over departing as a free agent because he wanted to stay in London. At one point, the agreement was almost finalised since CFC had extended their offer to him until 2025.

He will sign a deal with Al Ittihad that is effective through the summer of 2025, entitling him to a salary of €200 million. The Frenchman, who will join Karim Benzema, who was just signed by Al Ittihad, will do so on a free transfer.

Al Hilal, Al Ittihad, Al Nassr, and Al Ahli are four Saudi Arabian Pro League clubs in whom the Saudi Arabian Public Investment Fund (PIF) has a controlling interest. Their goal is to transform the Saudi league and make it a desirable location for the greatest footballers in the world.
