Football superstar Neymar has not let his injury dampen his New Year Eve celebrations and the Brazilian international had every reason to celebrate after bagging a huge win in poker. The Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) star has been playing poker in the run-up to the New Year, defeating Brazilian professional player Andre Akkari in a tournament the footballer organised. Overnight, he joined singer-songwriter pal Suel by grabbing a microphone and exercising his own vocal cords.

As per reports, Neymar is planning a New Year’s Eve party at his mansion in the paradise resort of Mangaratiba near Rio de Janeiro. The Brazilian had welcomed 2021 in a similarly grand party last year, which had created much controversy which alleged breach of COVID-19 protocols. Argentinian singer Emilia Mernes was amongst the VIP guests at the party last year, and the duo were pictured dancing to one of her popular songs.

This year, Neymar is expected to celebrate the New Year with Bruna Biancardi having celebrated Christmas in his newly purchased seven-bed £2.5million mansion. Biancardi insisted last month she was single in an Instagram question and answer session, but was photographed with Neymar in Paris before he left for Brazil and at a Christmas Eve visit he made to his grandmother after reaching his homeland.
