Neymar has been a primary target and in the ongoing summer, we saw him supporting Barcelona when they won the La Liga title. He went to Spain and enjoyed the party with the Barcelona player. The Brazilian was out from football action due to an ankle injury but he was in touch with Barcelona.

There were some reports that the 31-year-old will move to Barcelona along with Messi. Fans were expecting a reunion at Camp Nou. He was in the stadium to watch Messi playing in Paris and did a video call with Suarez. The trio set big records at Barcelona and the media reported it as a hint of the possible return of the Brazilian in Spain. However, Messi moved to Inter Miami and Neymar’s future looked uncertain due to injury.

Neymar was part of PSG’s pre-season camp but was recovering from an ankle injury. He made an unused substitute appearance for Ligue 1 giants. Now, PSG got an offer from Al Hilal and the deal was finalised. Neymar is moving to the Middle East to compete with players like Ronaldo, Mane, Firmino, Henderson, Kante and Benzema. He will soon complete his medical and appear for the first game in Al Hilal outfit this month.

There is a fresh report from a French outlet that confirmed that Neymar is not planning a longer move to Saudi. He has signed a two-year contract with Al Hilal. His contract with the Saudi club will expire in 2025 and then, he will leave the club as a free agent. He can reunite with Barcelona in 2025 so Barca fans have to wait for two more seasons.

Neymar was a superstar during his days at Camp Nou. It was Ramalho who found the talent in the Brazilian during the Club World Cup final. Ramalho said at a pre-match press conference, “The two are similar, but Neymar is a bit more special. His style alternates the direction of the ball as he carries it, while Messi dribbles more in a straight line. Neymar is unpredictable. You don’t find anyone in the world who does what he can with the ball.”

Barcelona paid €57 million to sign Neymar and later, the Brazilian won big honours for the club. He spent four seasons at Camp Nou, scoring 105 goals and 76 assists across 186 appearances. In 2017, he accepted a world-record transfer to Paris Saint-Germain. Barcelona fans would accept his desire to join the club in 2025 and then, he will be 33 years old which is not bad. He is an outstanding player and will eye to return for European competition.
