New Spurs Manager: Tottenham Hotspur have finalized their decision to hire a new manager ahead of the upcoming season. The London whites are extremely close to signing the dotted line with Ange Postecoglou. The Australian manager recently helped Celtic win the Scottish League title as he went enroute to seal a domestic treble with the club.
Ange Postecoglou will join Spurs as their new head coach. Earlier in March, Antonio Conte was sacked by the club after his explosive rant with Daniel Levy. Ryan Mason and Cristian Stellini overtook the assistant manager duty with the latter replacing the former after a couple of games. While Mauricio Pochettino was tipped to rejoin Spurs, the Argentine joined rivals Chelsea.

This prompted Levy and Co to shift their focus to the Celtic boss. The deal with Ange Postecoglou is likely to be completed within a few days. Postecoglou gave great success to Celtic after joining the Scottish giants back in 2021. Celtic defended their title under his tutelage and then went on to complete a domestic treble this season.
He said: “I anticipate enjoying this moment for the next 24-48 hours, as long as I can, before someone drags me away and takes my attention away from enjoying something that’s been hard-earned.”
Despite winning the Scottish Cup final the other day, the Australian is now keen to make a move as he is desperate to taste some action of the Premier League. It will be a tough job for the manager and club to attack some key players this summer after missing out European Football. Spurs had a sub-par season and went on to finish 8th in the league.

Things went downhill for Spurs over the past few months. Tensions started to rise when the team failed to perform under Conte. After a 3-3 draw with Southampton he went on an explosive rant calling players in his team to be selfish. He was soon sacked and Stellini was appointed as the interim manager. When this started to deteriorate further, Ryan Mason replaced the former.
After the sacking on Conte, Xavi Alonso and Julian Nageslsmann were tipped as favorites to take the rein of Spurs.
