Things got slightly out of hand as the fans storming the pitch got caught up in the emotion of it all. At that point, police had to storm the field to disperse the crowd. As tempers flared, one man was even seen whipping another with his belt.

When Napoli was held to a 1-1 draw by Salernitana on Sunday, they lost the chance to clinch the championship in front of their home supporters. When Udinese took the lead in the 13th minute thanks to Sandi Lovric, it appeared as if Napoli would have to wait a bit longer.
Osimhen, who has now scored 27 goals across all competitions this season, helped Napoli claw their way back into the game seven minutes into the second half. That is how things stayed until the end of the game and as the final whistle blew, and the Napoli fans and players went ballistic.
It is the third league title in Napoli’s history after the two Maradona won within the space of four years. It is also the first time since 2001 that a team outside of Juventus, AC Milan, or Inter Milan has been crowned Italian champions.
Victor Osimhen’s reaction to Napoli’s Serie-A victory
Victor Osimhen reacted after leading Napoli to their first Serie A title in 33 years. Osimhen’s 22 goals in Serie A proved crucial for Napoli in an outstanding campaign. The striker was vocal about how happy this made him and the team. He also spoke about how this would feel for all the Napoli fans around the world.
He said, ‘It is an amazing feeling, we have waited so many years for this moment. To be able to deliver the Scudetto to the Neapolitans is something that we will never forget in a hurry and will continue to live in our hearts for the rest of our lives. I’m happy for all Neapolitans… now we’re going to celebrate in front of our own fans and enjoy the moment for life.’

Osimhen also broke the record held by Samuel Eto’o held in the Serie A. Victor scored his 22nd league goal of the season against Udinese. The 22nd goal of the campaign made him surpass Eto’o as the African player in the Italian league with the most goals in a single season. Eto’o scored 21 scored in the 2010/11 season for Inter Milan.
