Young Mariners’ defender Ravi Rana received a harmless ball close to the Mohun Bagan box with his back to the East Bengal goal. The youngster could have easily passed the ball back to Mohun Bagan goalkeeper but thought he had ample time to take a touch. However, East Bengal’s Borja closed Ravi down in a flash, and put away a shot. However, the shot deflected off the post and fell to Nandha Kumar who tapped in the ball in the easiest of goals he would score in his career.
