Neymar, in particular, has a sizable fan base in India, which heightens the anticipation for any potential matchup between Al-Hilal and Mumbai City FC. However, the possibility that famous athletes like Neymar, Aleksander Mitrovic, Kalidou Koulibaly, Malcom, and Ruben Neves may grace India is more significant.

Mumabi City AFC Champions League 2023–24 Draw:

Mumbai City will play the other three clubs in a series of home-and-away matches in the upcoming competition. Mumbai City FC will compete not only against Al-Hilal but also against Nassaji Mazandaran of Iran and Navbahor of Uzbekistan. Without a question, this presents the Islanders with a significant problem.

Additionally, this is Mumbai City’s second straight appearance in the competition. An important milestone was reached in their prior business. They overcame the Iraqi Air Force team to win the AFC Champions League for the first time ever by an Indian club.

Despite coming in second place in their group, they nearly missed making it to the next round. In the Western division of the group, they only placed sixth among the second-placed clubs.

The Islanders will be the final Indian team to compete in the AFC Champions League, which is notable. Indian clubs will no longer be eligible for direct qualification to the AFC Champions League as of the following season. As a result, the club is the subject of many expectations. especially in light of the calibre of the opposition they are facing.
