Mohun Bagan Super Giant are going through somewhat of a turmoil at the moment. After a string of bad results in the ISL, the Kolkata outfit parted ways with their coach Juan Ferrando and announced Antonio Lopez Habas as their coach instead. However, it will be assistant coach Clifford Miranda who will be in the dugout for the derby as Habas will watch on from the stands.

Mohun Bagan will miss some of their top players in crucial fixture against East Bengal. Mariners’ first choice goalkeeper Vishal Kaith is away with the Indian team. Arsh Shaikh will likely start for the Mariners on goal.

Mohun Bagan will also miss the services of defender Subhashish Bose, midfielders Anirudh Thapa, Sahal Abdul Samad and winger Liston Colaco. They are all away with the national team. Although it is noteworthy that Samad missed out in India’s tie against Uzbekistan with an injury.

Among the attackers, Mohun Bagan will be without Manvir Singh. Ashique Kuruniyan is a long term absentee as he is still nursing an injury.
