The Kalinga Super Cup provides a chance to the clubs to play with six foreigners. It allows MBSG to play with Hugo Boumous, , Dmitri Petratos Armando Sadiku and Jason Cummins to play together along with two foreign center backs. Assistant coach Clifford Miranda is likely to play with 3-5-2 with Ashish Rai supporting the center backs off the ball.

Along with Ashish Rai, Hugo Boumous and Petratos, Glan Martins is likely to take up the central midfielder’s role. Youngster Kiyaan Nassiri will likely slightly behind Mariners’ attacking duo of Jason Cummins and Armando Sadiku.
