Arteta’s contract with the Gunners will end this year in the summer, making him a free agent. Arsenal have trusted in the Spanish manager for a long time and when he is finally delivering, they surely didn’t want him to leave. Earlier, Barcelona showed interest in signing the La Masia graduate when they parted ways with Ronald Koeman. But the Catalan club opted for Xavi Hernandez and now they seem to be in a stable position.
Amidst uncertainty and Brazil’s interest, Real Madrid are also seeking options in order to replace Carlo Ancelloti. The Italian manager might opt for a lighter job in Brazil, once the season ends.
🚨 PSG, who are set to change manager again this summer, are among the big European clubs monitoring Arsenal’s Mikel Arteta.

Manchester City are also keeping an eye on Arteta’s situation as the 41-year-old served as assistant manager while working for Pep Guardiola at the club. Pep Guardiola’s contract is till 2025, but if he fails to win the UCL yet again, City might look for other options available.
Arsenal Under Mikel Arteta
Arteta struggled to produce the results which were expected from him. But this was the case until last season, and this season the Gunners have been firing consistently.
They are on top of the Premier League table, but City are inching closer to them as they lost points on consecutive 2 occasions. It will be the real test for Arteta and his players to defeat City and end the 20-year-old Premier League trophy drought at the club.
