Messi DEATH Threat: Lionel Messi Death Threat Letter: Unknown gunmen have threatened Lionel Messi after they stormed a supermarket run by Antonella Roccuzzo’s family. The store is situated in Rosario, Argentina, which also happens to be the hometown of the Argentine celebrity. The attackers also left the Paris Saint Germain player a message. According to Rosario3, shots were fired at the store in the early hours of the morning as two guys on a motorbike were spotted arriving and spraying bullets in the direction of the shutter. Mayor Pablo Javkin is also a part of the scandal. Follow Ligue 1 LIVE Updates in InsideSport.IN
They also left a handwritten note for Lionel Messi which states, “Messi we are waiting for you, Javkin is also a drug trafficker, he is not going to take care of you.” The note was written on paper and placed in a bag of charcoal. Police and investigation agencies arrived on the scene as soon as the incident was reported, and an inquiry was immediately launched. Despite not actively living there, Messi does own a house there called “The Fortress” in Rosario.

On Thursday, two people riding a motorcycle fired roughly fourteen rounds at the Unico store’s shutters in Rosario. No one was wounded in the incident, but the store sustained damage, according to Rosario police.

The attack and the note are the subject of an ongoing investigation. Pablo Javkin, the mayor of Rosario, expressed his annoyance at what he claimed was a spike in violent crime in remarks made to reporters on Thursday. He expressed similar views earlier this week in a string of tweets, saying the city needed more funds and police officers.
In addition, the athlete has a close relationship with Rosario-based Newell’s Old Boys of Argentina. Old Boys was Messi’s first club, and there have been rumours that he will wear the jersey one final time before hanging up his boots. The 35-year-impending old’s future is under close scrutiny because his current contract will expire at the conclusion of the current season and he hasn’t yet committed to staying at Parc des Princes.
