Under Erik Ten Hag, United’s season started with 2 consecutive losses. However, the team bounced back from that and has come a long way since. They also lifted their first trophy in 6 years this season. But, the season seems to complete a full circle, as United’s problems are not getting exposed. The team has several players injured like Lisandro Martinez, Raphael Varane, Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, Donny Van de Beek, and a few more. However, a few of them are now back in training which might give them hopes for a better season-ending.
Marcus Rashford has been in fine form since the Qatar World Cup. This season, the English striker has scored 28 goals in all competitions, helping United remain in contention for 3 trophies and a UCL spot for the next season. The Red Devils have already won the Carabao Cup and they’ll need Rashford’s goal-scoring form in order to bag the Europa League and FA Cup.
Rashford sustained an injury against Everton on April 8. Although the injury was minor, he still missed 2 games. In his absence, Manchester United blew up a 2-0 lead against Sevilla in the first leg and won against Nottingham Forest in the Premier League. To secure a semifinal spot in Europa League, Rashford’s contribution will be required in the United attack line.

Luke Shaw, Tyrell Malacia, and Marcel Sabitzer are also back in training. Malacia and Sabitzer featured in the game against Sevilla, but were absent due to injury against Forest. On the other hand, Shaw was sidelined since April 5, when he last played against Brentford.
