However, the huge release clause of Silva is a problem for the interested clubs. The player has a whopping 100 million release clause in his contract with Benefica. The contract also binds him to Benefica till the summer of 2027. The teams will have to bid at least nearly 90 million to buy him from the Portuguese club. According to French reports, PSG is preparing a 90 million bid for teenager. Manchester United is also in the race to sign the center-back. The two heavyweights will lock horns in the upcoming transfer window to secure the young Portuguese.
La Liga giants Real Madrid and Barcelona are also reportedly interested in the teenager. However, they are thrown off by the huge release clause of the player. Antonio Silva is looking for his first international call in Fernando Santos’s squad in the upcoming Qatar World Cup.
