Despite this, the Glazers are reportedly considering minority investments from various companies, including Elliot Investment Management, Ares Management, and Corporation, and Sixth Street Partners. Raine Group, acting on behalf of the Glazers, is currently managing the potential sale of the club.
Notably, the Glazers have been under increasing pressure from fans to sell the club, with protests and demonstrations taking place outside Old Trafford. Many supporters feel that the United’s decline as club is due to the family’s ownership, and have called for greater investment in players and facilities.
Despite this, the Glazers remain confident in their ability to manage the club and bring it back to its former glory. They have earlier stated that they are committed to investing in the team and improving its performance and that they have the resources to do so.
