United have long been interested in Spurs’ all-time top scorer. Bayern Munich has joined the competition for a highly sought-after star in 2023. They have had two bids rejected but may be tempted to make a third as they get closer to Tottenham’s £100 million asking price.

For the time being, the England captain is still on the books at Tottenham. He is, however, in the final year of his contract in north London. A significant contract offer is thought to be on the table, but Kane has yet to sign anything while he weighs his options.

Kane, who is about to become 30 years old, is said to have sent his family house searching in Germany. He hopes to transfer to a team that will allow him to end a long wait for important honours.
