Why the crisis meeting was called? Manchester United is in middle of one of the worst run of form despite having best of the talent on board.
The likes of Cristiano Ronaldo and Raphael Varane are in the line up so is Jordan Sancho. But still, unimaginative Solskjaer’s men are anguishing in 6th position in the Premier League 9 points adrift Premier League leaders Chelsea.
In the last two games they were badly humiliated 1st by Liverpool & embarassingly lost to Manchester City.
As voices for Solskjaer sacking is growing – team management gave him lifeline of sorts by annnoucing they still have faith in him – but the question is for how long?
Manchester United board is desperately trying to stick to Solskjaer alteast until this season’s end, given that he signed a contract extension till 2024 and it would take a hefty compensation to relieve him of his duties.

Manchester United’s next two matches against Watford in the Premier League and Villareal in Champions League could hold the key to Solskjaer’s future, the former Molde manager’s job has been made even more difficult given the fact that United will be travelling to Vicarage Road without the French duo of Paul Pogba and Raphael Varane.
