Manchester City late push
Despite the two-goal deficit, Manchester City pressed on, creating a tense finish in the final minutes. Josko Gvardiol managed to pull one back in the 82nd minute after connecting with a well-placed cross from Ilkay Gundogan. His looping header bounced off the bar and crossed the line, finally giving City hope.
In the dying moments of the match, Erling Haaland came close to levelling the score, hitting the post from close range. However, Bournemouth held their ground, denying City any further chances.
Man City drop to second
