Min-jae made the headlines at the FIFA World Cup in Qatar after he played a crucial role for his team. The South Korean squad defeated Portugal in the group stage to advance to the Round of 16, only to lose against Brazil. But, in the three games he played, Min jae left his impressions.
After the World Cup, the 26-year-old continued his good form at Napoli, where he was signed only a year ago as a replacement for Kalidou Koulibably. While playing in more than 3000 minutes for Napoli, who won the Serie A title after 33 years, the South Korean defender was standing as rock solid in the back. Moreover, his passing and ability to win ariel duel against big strikers makes him more special.
As a result, many teams are in the line to trigger his release clause, which is around €60 million (£52m/$64m), and sign the player. His contract with Napoli is valid till 2025. Manchester United might be the one to secure Min jae’s services next season. However, the only problem which lies ahead in the road is his unavailability.
