After passing his medical exam at Manchester United, Sergio Reguilon will take the position of the injured Luke Shaw.

Shaw picked up a thigh injury in the 2-0 loss to Tottenham Hotspur. In order to fill up for the injured defender, the Red Devils have subsequently been forced to use Diogo Dalot at left-back. Several candidates have been mentioned in connection with the club as Shaw’s replacements.
Marc Cucurella of Chelsea and Reguilon of Tottenham were said to be the key targets. Reguilon has finished his physical at Old Trafford, according to The Athletic. There may be a “break clause” in the agreement that the club can utilise in January, according to rumours.
While at the club, it would be assumed that the Spaniard will stand in for Shaw and Tyrell Malacia, who are both injured. With his present ailment, Shaw may potentially miss up to ten weeks of action.
Malacia, who had an injury that has kept him out since before preseason, is still on the sidelines in the meanwhile. Reguilon, 26, joined Tottenham in 2020, but after dropping down the hierarchy, he spent the last campaign on loan at Atletico Madrid.
He only appeared for the team 11 times in LaLiga, indicating that the move was unsuccessful. Rico Henry, a standout for Brentford, has previously been mentioned in connection with a move by United to address their left-back need.
