There has been a major development in the England Football Team. Ace forward, Phil Foden has left the English camp to return home. It has been revealed that Foden is returning home owing to a ‘pressing family matter’. The English FA has confirmed that that the forward has left the camp temporarily.
“Phil Foden has temporarily left the England camp and returned to the UK for a pressing family matter,” said an FA spokesperson.
When will Phil Foden return to England camp?
It is currently unknown when Foden will rejoin his English camp. Currently the Manchester City forward is returning home owing to a ‘Pressing family matter’. England are currently having an indoor session. The Three Lions topped Group C with a win and 2 draws.
England’s Round of 16 is currently unknown. There are still 5 days remaining before the next match for Harry Kane and Co. It remains to be seen if Phil Foden manages to rejoin the squad before that.
For England, Phil Foden has appeared on all three group stage games, but hasn’t managed to shine. Both England and Foden’s performance in Euro 2024 have been sub par and will be keen to revive their form in the next stage of the European Championships.
