Liverpool star Luis Diaz finally opens up after the kidnapping of his parents. Jurgen Klopp is not even including him for the full game due to the mental status of this player. Luis Diaz recently shared a social media story advertising a march for his kidnapped father. It was the first public statement of the player since the incident.
Luiz Diaz belongs to Colombia and the post in his story called for the “whole community” of Barranca to come together and march for his father. Luis Manuel is still not free from the kidnappers. Barranca is a player’s hometown and Diaz wants his people to support him to get his father free.
This story literally left Liverpool teammates stunned. The march event was organised on Tuesday and supporters were lined in the streets with white balloons. They were chanting for Luis Manuel’s release. With this post, Luiz Diaz finally came publically to open up on this incident. His parents were kidnapped on Sunday.
Luis Diaz’s father Luis Manuel and his mother, Cilenis Marulanda came out to the market to buy watermelons. They were kidnapped by four armed men on motorcycles. His mother, Marulanda was later released, but his father is still not free. Some reports are saying that his father is no longer in the country.
As per the reports of the Daily Mail, Comombia police are investigating and they are also assuming that his father may have been smuggled over the border into Venezuela. Police is busy in search operation across the nearby Perija mountain range. The country’s national police director General William Salamanca is now leading the operation. He denied any report of his location in Venezuela.
Luiz Diaz was not part of Liverpool’s previous Premier League game against Nottingham Forest and they are also not including him in the EFL Clash on Wednesday. Luis Diaz is getting full support from his fellow teammates. His countrymate Diogo Jota gave him a touching celebration tribute and also spoke on the ongoing situation of Luis Diaz.
