Toni Kroos and Aurelien Tchouameni are huge misses for the Los Blancos. Had they been fit, they would walk into the starting eleven for this game. Both players had missed the weekend trip to Osasuna as well and have not recovered in time for the trip to Anfield either. Ancelotti will have to worry about his midfield as they get ready to clash against Klopp’s side.

It will be interesting to see how Real Madrid line up without Kroos and Tchouameni. The best bet would be to start Eduardo Camavinga in a defensive midfield role, with Luka Modric and Dani Ceballos taking up the other two roles. Ceballos has been in quite a good touch in his last couple of games and this will be another opportunity to impress.
